Miso Black Cod - 454g Black Cod, 106g Miso marinade
Ingredients: Shiro miso (rice,soybeans, water, seasalt, koji (aspergillus oryzae)), Sake (water, rice, koji), mirin (water, rice, koji (aspergillus oryaze)), Sugar.
Allergens: Fish (Black Cod), May contain tree nuts
Fast Prep: Cook from frozen
- Empty entire package into oven-safe dish lined with parchment paper.

Bake approximately 15 minutes at 350F, until pieces are thawed and no longer stuck together. Tip out excess marinade and orient all pieces skin side down.

Broil 5-6 minutes until flesh turns golden brown and blisters.

Serve or flip and broil skin-side up until the skin gets crispy (it’s very forgiving and difficult to overcook).
Or thaw ahead & BBQ
- Thaw in fridge overnight.
- Remove from package and wipe off excess marinade (leave some on though).
- Preheat BBQ to 350F.

Brush or spray oil on flesh side of fish to prevent sticking.

Grill, flesh side down on med-high for 4-5 min until golden brown and bubbly.

Flip skin side down and immediately take off the grill or, for crispy skin, cook until golden brown, 3-4 min.
